Just before the annual conference of International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) in 2015, Josep M. Pique, the vice president of IASP visited Pomegranate International Innovation Park of Zoom Tech. IASP international management experts, the director of Pomegranate International Innovation Park, Ms. ZHANG Xiuying, the former deputy director of Management Committee of Haidian Zhongguancun Park, MAO Guihua, the general manager of Zoom Tech, Ms. HAN Li, the deputy GM of Zoom Tech attended the seminar and further discussed the theme of international development of science parks in the era of internet.
Josep M. Pique first visited the shared offices of Foundry Club affiliated to Zoom Tech, and inquired the detailed information of the professional services provided by the accelerator such as international projects incubation and acceleration, cooperation of cross-border projects, financing and specialized training. He highly recognized and expressed his support to the advanced cross-border innovation ecological system built by Foundry Club.
Then Josep M. Pique visited the Stanford Plaza, the international roadshow center in Pomegranate International Innovation Park. He praised the global strategic layout, Silicon Valley-like design and the planning of functional planning of Zoom Tech.
During the seminar, Ms. ZHANG Xiuying made a speech with the theme of the definite trend of combination of Internet + Science parks, and shared the experience and fruits of Haidian park; she also made some suggestions regarding how the traditional science park grasp the opportunity of Internet+ tide in the new era. Josep M. Pique introduced the common characterizes, advantages and development trends of the world class science park, and he agreed that the Internet+ was an important topic that the science parks needed to face and respond positively. He also further discussed and analyzed the development model of Zoom Tech in the report made by Ms. HAN Li. He noted that, in order to build international park and establish an international platform for the companies cooperates with the whole world, an excellent science park needed to establish their differential advantage, own strong resources and outstanding strategic cooperation structure and operational model
