On the afternoon of June 23, Beijing Smart Manufacturing Project International Cooperation Conference was held successfully. At the matchmaking conference, the participates discussed in depth the latest global concepts, technologies and solutions of intelligent manufacturing through cooperative business opportunity seminars, policy interpretation and promotion, introduction and promotion of the park and corporates, so as to jointly promote the in-depth domestic-international industrial cooperation in the field of intelligent manufacturing, and help the transformation and upgrading of the Chinese enterprises.

Mr. Wang Zuo, Director of the Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economics and Information Technology, delivered an opening speech, from the perspectives of the current status, development goals and regional distribution of the smart manufacturing industry in Beijing. He introduced that in 2020, the city’s high-tech manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 9.5% year-on-year, the software and information service industry operating income increased by 15.2% year-on-year. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Beijing took high-quality development as the theme to build a group of leading companies with strong innovation spirit and industrial clusters valued trillion-dollar with global competitiveness, to create a new system of high-precision and sophisticated industries to face the future challenges. He invited the participating companies to establish cooperation channels and discuss the possible cooperation opportunities.
Subsequently, Mr. Yair Albin, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Israel in China, and Mr. Marc STRUYVELT, Commercial Counselor of Embassy of Belgium in China – Belgium Flanders Investment & Trade Bureau, respectively made a presentation focusing on "Israel and Industry 4.0 Ecosystem" and Brief Introduction of Flanders, Belgium.
