On the afternoon of September 15, the second Entrepreneurship Fengtai entrepreneurship training camp, Design and Innovation of Business Model: From Idea to Business Thinking, was successfully held in the form of both online and offline, with more than 30 enterprises participating in the event.
The event was hosted by Fengtai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Fengtai Veterans Affairs Bureau, and jointly organized by Fengtai Veterans Service Center, Fengtai Veterans Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, Pomegranate Center, Beijing Stanford Technology Incubator Co., Ltd. and Beijing 101 Science and Technology Incubator Co., Ltd.
Mr. Fu Qiang, the chairman of Think Tank Media, distinguished MBA tutor of Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, tutor of Entrepreneurship Training Camp of Peking University and the strategic partner, was invited to lead the course themed of Design and Innovation of Business Model, so as to help entrepreneurs change their minds from sales to business thinking and cultivate leading enterprises in market segments.
At first, Mr. Fu Qiang analyzed in detail the entrepreneurial environment. On the one hand, fund-raising is becoming more and more difficult, the gap between the north and the south China is further widening, and the market segmentation is becoming more and more important. The excellent technology is only a prerequisite for starting a business and creating wealth. The key point to be a qualified science and technology entrepreneur is to transform business ideas into "business thinking". On the other hand, China is resetting the bottom logic of its economy, from priority to growth to consideration to fairness. High quality development driven by innovation is inevitable to promote common prosperity in high quality.
In addition, Mr. Fu Qiang also introduced to entrepreneurs that the executives of enterprise in the high-tech field had five key tasks, namely the service transformation, business boundaries expansion, portfolio reshaping, realizing enterprise modernization and building a flexible supply chain. He pointed out that the Beijing Stock Exchange helped the innovation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The establishment of the Beijing Stock Exchange will expand the proportion of market financing, promote the technology and innovation and activate the development of the real economy.
Mr. Fu Qiang emphasized that value proposition, customer relationship and customer segmentation constitute the origin of the business model. He said that it’s essential to start with customer value when designing a business model or a product. The key to create a successful product is not what features you have designed, but what great experiences you have brought to the users. Finally, Fu Qiang proposed that entrepreneurs needed to build two systems, namely, the internal life system and the external ecosystem. Learn to speak with numbers, lean entrepreneurship methodology MVP is the key.
The course was highly praised by the participants, for it not only helped entrepreneurs absorb knowledge and expand ideas, but also improved their innovation and entrepreneurship ability. The participants actively raised questions, interacted and warmly exchanged views, and successfully completed this course.
