Marketing is the King at the ear of wifi – Successful conclusion of the First Lesson of Zoom Tech Innovation College

On March 13th, Zoom Tech Innovation College successfully held the salon themed How to Make Better New Media Marketing at  YAFO LABS Intelligent Hardware Cross-Border Accelerator Roadshow Hall in the Pomegranate Center. The event organizer specially invited Ms. MU Jiahe, MBA of Renmin University of China, the founder of Zoomedia Marketing Officer Union (ZMO), and the founder of Zhijia, to make a presentation, with 60 participators including scholars and new media practitioners, and representatives of entrepreneurial companies based in Pomegranate Park.

This salon is jointly sponsored by Zoom Tech and Zhijia, with the aim to interpret new media marketing trends for the small enterprises and enable enterprises to identify new media strategies on the Internet.


At the event, Ms. MU Jiahe explained how the small enterprises to do brand marketing, product marketing and community operation with the new media from five aspects: the development trend of new media marketing, the complete definition of new media, new media marketing, WeChat marketing practice process, and corporate new media strategic layout.


Ms. Mu believed that, with low marketing costs, the small and medium-sized start-ups have to focus on data analysis, establish user portraits, formulate accurate communication strategies, and publish them through effective promotion channels, if they want to quickly establish brand advantages.


She pointed out that traditional marketing methods were declining, and the new media had become a new battleground for corporate marketing. Today, new media is not only combined with WeChat Weibo, but also short videos. According to the annual data of the vibrato in 2018, the daily vibrating users are over 200 million, and the average daily using time is over 60 minutes. Therefore, entrepreneurs should catch up with the new media express train to help the company's marketing promotion.


For short videos, MS. Mu shared the experience of three-step vibrato marketing for the first time: First, attract more fans with hot content. We need to make our video popular among the users with combination of the product positioning to complete the initial accumulation and precipitation; second, locate and select accurate users. Filter valuable target users, confirm the tags, and strengthen branding. Third, improve ROI with short video precision marketing. Use the short video marketing to continuously optimize the first two steps to increase the ROI.

With the successful conclusion of the first lesson of Zoom Tech Innovation College, the sharing session allowed everyone to increase their understanding of new media during the communication, and helped them to enhance the new media marketing awareness. After the meeting, Ms. MU Jiahe interacted with the audience and discussed the trend of new media and new ways of playing. In the future, Zoom Tech will organize more events to bring more knowledge and policy interpretations, so that entrepreneurs can effectively understand the latest marketing and government policies while focusing on their own career development!
