On August 30th, in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and enrich the cultural life of the citizens and promote the cultural consumption of the capital Beijing, the 7th Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season “Pomegranate Fair” the Children’s Fun event kicked off at the Stamford Plaza in the Pomegranate Center of Fengtai District with the relevant officials of the 7th Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season attending the event.
The Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season is jointly sponsored by Beijing Municipal Cultural Resources Center, Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, and Beijing Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau. It is an important platform and brand activity with the aim to cultivate the cultural consumption concepts, lead cultural consumption will, encourage cultural consumption behavior, and encourage cultural innovation and development. With Children’s Fun as the theme, the first event of the Pomegranate Fair mainly included five major sections: creative graffiti, cool performances, fun games, hand-made workshops and flea markets. In response to the call of culture benefits for the people to promote the consumption of mass culture, the fair strives to create a fun and childlike feast for parents and children on the occasion of the back-to-school season!
The event was lively and exciting with the oversized check-in graffiti wall allowing the children to use the brush to release their creativity. Riding the wheelbarrow swayed in the fair and became the popular "star" of the market, the clown brought a lot of joy to the children. The bubble show magic, robot parade, cute baby talent show, plus the sweet candy painting, soft and cute marshmallows, egg tarts, pomegranate juice impressed the children and their parents.
In the market, the most eye-catching item should be the flea market where the children played the role of boss and customers. They priced their books and toys so that the beloved items could find a new home again. The activity not only exercised the children's communication skills, but also helped them to make new friends and gain beautiful friendship.
The launching ceremony kicked off in the wonderful drum performances of the children, and the subsequent Street Dance performance by the cute kids won rounds of applause. Next, the versatile children used calligraphy and guzheng to interpret the art of traditional Guzheng and poetry. The traditional classical audio-visual feast fully demonstrated the wonderful childlike world and the elegance of the oriental culture. At the end of the program, the responsible person of the 7th Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season staged to stamp the seal with the logo of “Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season” in the children’s calligraphy work “Pomegranate Fair” official launch of the Pomegranate Fair, which also means that Huimin consumption will open a new chapter in the south Beijing in the area of the culture.
In the Beijing Huimin Cultural Consumption Season, Fengtai District carefully planned a series of six themed activities including Feng•Opera and Feng•Reading etc. The Pomegranate Fair will last for three days from August 30 to September 1. It is said that, as an important part of the Fengmin District Huimin cultural consumption season, the Pomegranate Fair will continue to be held in Beijing and Hebei province, to promote more high-quality cultural and creative products to tap the markets outside Beijing and drive the regional cultural consumption in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province.
