On July 30, themed in Realizing Entrepreneurship Dream in Beijing, the Entrepreneurship Fengtai 2021 - Veterans Entrepreneurship Innovation Competition in Fengtai came to a successful conclusion in YAFOLABS the roadshow hall of the Pomegranate Center in Fengtai District.

Integrating a number of district level events such as the Try-out Contest of 2021 Beijing Veterans Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition, the 2021 Maker China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Entrepreneurship Beijing 2021 - Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the competition jointly organized and carried out the "entrepreneurship Fengtai 2021" innovation and entrepreneurship competition, aiming to attract more innovative and excellent entrepreneurship projects to settle in Fengtai, increase high-quality jobs, improve the innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere and ecological environment in Fengtai. It helps to effectively combine the youth employment with innovation and entrepreneurship, stimulate the innovation and entrepreneurship vitality, tap high-quality entrepreneurial talents and projects, build a development pattern of creative industries, create an atmosphere of industrial integration and development, and improve the overall entrepreneurship and employment in Fengtai District.
The competition closely follows the national call of "Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation", and combines the industrial development focus and entrepreneurship and employment situation of Fengtai District. It is divided into two types of main competition and special competition. The main competition focuses on high-tech industries and other hard technology projects as well as overseas high-quality entrepreneurial projects. The special competition is centered on the entrepreneurs and innovation projects for the veterans. In order to further implement the regional strategy of talent first, and to discover and cultivate high-quality entrepreneurial projects for the overseas students to settle in Fengtai, this competition also pioneered the "Entrepreneur Fengtai 2021", a special session for overseas talents in the Entrepreneurship Competition, so as to empower the regional industrial development and promote high-quality development.
The competition lasted two months with 93 excellent teams to sign up and attracted extensive attention from all walks of life since its launch. It was conducted in the form of "on-site roadshow + interactive Defense + scoring by expert judges". The competition process was in full swing and wonderful. All projects with independent innovation characteristics and good social value appeared one and another. The contestants gave passionate speeches to fully demonstrate their project advantages and professional abilities. The subsequent defense pushed the competition to a climax. After fierce competition, a total of 9 projects came to the fore. Finally, the project of Ultra-low Emission Control Technology of Industrial Organic Waste Gas won the first prize, the projects of Industrial Fault AI Auscultation Technology Platform and RMB Digital Circulation and Supervision Platform based on Blockchain won the second prize, and the projects of Customized Service and Drug Development of Nano Antibodies, Intelligent Motor Control System and Quantum Dot Light Emitting Chip won the third prize. The project of Large-scale Autonomous Vehicle Simulation Platform LasVSim won the annual innovation potential award, the AI Fresh Visual Scale project won the annual entrepreneurship popularity award", and the Beijing Yunyikang Medical Cloud Image project won the annual most investment value award.
In order to create more effects and fruits, the competition organizing committee has provided generous rewards and support in terms of policies and funds. In addition, the winning projects can also be given priority to get the investment intention of Zoom Tech up to 5 million, 100 square meters of international shared office space for one year, maximum 3 million entrepreneurial secured loans provided by the Fengtai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the qualifications to participate in various municipal-level innovation and entrepreneurship competitions in Beijing, and the priority to participate in the outstanding entrepreneurial projects of Fengtai in 2021, and obtain award funds for the selected projects.
The "Entrepreneurship Fengtai" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held three times. For the previous two sessions, a total of 1.2 million yuan of subsidies and bonuses were issued, 31 high-quality companies were selected, and 8 special investment and financing sessions were held after the competition with the aim to broaden the investment and financing channels of enterprises. The brand of "Entrepreneurship in Fengtai" began to take shape. Fengtai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will further gather resources from all parties to form a joint governmental assistance, create a good district-level business environment, and help outstanding enterprises to take off and develop.
