On September 15, “2017 National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week” was unveiled. Many relevant activities will be held in different regions of China. The activity will be taken as an important opportunity for implementing innovation and drive development, as well as cultivating new motivity. The activity will play the role of an important platform for the innovators and starters to spark creative genius, exhibit and convert their results. As a fertile ground for entrepreneurship and innovation, Fengtai District is active to answer the call of the activity. In order to push forward the entrepreneurship and innovation of Fengtai District, improve the innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere and ecological environment, effectively combine youth employment and entrepreneurship & innovation, and further stimulate talents’ entrepreneurship and innovation, HR and Social Security Bureau of Fengtai District worked with Zoom Tech to unveil the “Fengzhu Cup” Youth Entrepreneurship & Innovation Competition in the Anar Center on the first day of the “Entrepreneurship & Innovation Week”. The competition is to explore excellent talents and projects, build a development layout of technology and culture creative industry, and create a good atmosphere for industrial integration & development.
The competition was thought highly of by Beijing municipal government and different units of Fengtai District. It was attended by nearly 100 persons, including Liu Qinglin – Director of Entrepreneurship Instruction Office of Beijing Labor Service Management Center, Wang Yunqiang and Zhao Zhikun – Vice Director of Fengtai District HR and Social Security Bureau, different leaders of Fengtai Communist Youth League Committee, Economy & Informatization Committee, Industry & Commerce Bureau, Technology Committee, Mao Guihua – GM of Zoom Tech, and responsible persons of different incubators, startup tutors, investors, and media representatives.
It’s known that 12 talk shows that join the competition were selected from 86 ones after many rounds of fighting. Those talk shows were from different sectors such as artificial intelligence, big data, energy, cultural creativity. In the talk show, five senior judges including Ma Qiang from Black Diamond Filming Company, Gu Juntao from Yunneng Rixin Investment Management Company, Liu Zhiqiang from Yihui Capital, Lu Haitian from Mengjiang Consulting Firm, and Zhou Quan from Innoangel Fund, evaluated competing projects from the aspect of investment value, technological value, social value, corporate strategy, and marketing strategy. They also took the onsite interaction and open reply of players into consideration when marking those projects. After keen competition, 6 projects such as solar energy triple generation system, VR panoramic roaming won the prize for excellence; 3 projects such as Huoxiu Sports won third-class prize and RMB 10,000 bonus; Kupai and Shijie Duomeili won second-class prize and RMB 20,000 bonus; Mypian Net won first-class prize and RMB 30,000 bonus.
Wang Yunqiang, Vice Director of Fengtai District HR and Social Security Bureau, gave certificate of award and bonus to startups, and expressed his recognition and appreciation toward those projects. He said that the competition has a wide project recruitment channel, a creative competition organization mode, practical awards and incentive policy, therefore it can screen out really excellent projects and give powerful support. The HR and Social Security Bureau will continue to focus on the building of Fengtai District Independent Entrepreneurship Academy, put emphasis on excellent innovation service and the making of beneficial entrepreneurship policy, and carry out the entrepreneurship mission of Fengtai District.
On the conference, Zhao Zhiku, Vice Director of Fengtai District HR and Social Security Bureau, awarded letters of employment to Fengtai District entrepreneur tutors. He expressed heartfelt thanks to the instructions and hard work provided by tutors for startups. Then Liu Qinglin, director of Entrepreneurship Instruction Office of Beijing Labor Service Management Center, awarded plagues to the first batch of excellent entrepreneurship service organs in Fengtai District. Incubators such as Zoom Tech won the honor. Liu Qinglin said that he felt the enthusiasm of entrepreneurship and innovation in Fengtai District from this competition. He also stated the competition was an important manifestation for the building of entrepreneurship and innovation industry development layout in Fengtai District, also an active response to “National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week”.
Finally “Fengzhu Night” salon pushed the activity to the summit. Startups including Weijing Tech, Mypian Net and investors including Zhongguancun Stake Investment Association, Innoangel Fund, Yunneng Rixin Investment, respectively shared their startup experiences and opinions of investment and funding. Leaders of Fengtai District HR & Social Security Bureau made communication with them from the aspect of policy support. The government, investors, and startups made nearly three hours of in-depth discussion, which sparked new thoughts and ideas. They hoped that the entrepreneurship and innovation development can be driven more widely and deeply with joint efforts and mutual support.
As the organizer of this competition, Zoom Tech will continue to start from the building of a high-quality innovative ecological community service system.
