On February 9, the Second Symposium for Beijing Cultural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition was held in Zoom Tech Foundry Club Co-working Space. It was attended by more than 40 representatives including Mei Song – Vice Inspector of Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of CPC and Director of Beijing Municipal Cultural Innovation Industry Promotion Center, Zou Luwei – Vice Director of Beijing Municipal Cultural Innovation Industry Promotion Center, responsible persons for Cultural Innovation Industry Promotion Centers of different districts and counties under Beijing, the incubators and the co-working space.
In order to answer the call for national entrepreneurship and innovation, further carry out the entrepreneurship and innovation policy, Beijing Municipal Cultural Innovation Industry Promotion Center held the first Beijing Cultural Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, in order to find the future unicorn with the best investment value by means of talk show and competition and underlining cultural innovation, stimulate the vitality of entrepreneurship and innovation in cultural innovation field, lead and push rapid development of cultural innovation industry.
At the symposium, Zou Luwei – Vice Director of Beijing Municipal Cultural Innovation Industry Promotion Center, made an overall summary of the First Beijing Cultural Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and reported the plan for the second competition. Then more than 40 representatives made in-depth discussion on the planning, organization, implementation, and promotion of the second competition.
Zoom Tech Vice GM Yan Fei made a lecture
Zoom Tech Vice GM Yan Fei said that technology is just means and culture is just connotation. He hoped that Zoom Tech can become the organizer of the second cultural innovation competition and more other competitions, build a better entrepreneurship and innovation platform for small and medium sized cultural projects, and better promote the development of Beijing technology and culture innovation industry.
As the best organizer of the first cultural innovation competition, Zoom Tech organized 4 preliminaries in Fengtai District, 1 semi-final of in Fengtai District, Beijing, screened 46 projects and recommended 6 projects for the final. “Super Spider Camera” project entered the final after 27 preliminaries, 10 semi-finals, and the final, and it won second-class award in Beijing cultural innovation competition.
